Z-tiger.com is a portfolio of art by Jacquelyn Meckes, otherwise known as Lyn Meckes. She has lived in St. Petersburg, Florida for her entire life. Her last name is of Austrian origin, and it is phonetically pronounced "meh-kiss."
Born on September 25, 1986, Lyn Meckes grew up aspiring to be a number of things.
At a very early age of 8 years, she aspired to be a cartoonist. At age 12, she gained an interest in becoming a professional photographer. When she turned 14, she discovered a passion in writing short stories.
But all these aspirations did not just vanish when another came about. Instead, they turned into a fantastic culmination of newfound talents.
Throughout high school, she learned how to produce Web sites and create strange images with Photoshop. In her senior year, she focused on developing skills in the fine arts with the aid of an AP Studio Art Portfolio class.
Now, as a college student, she is majoring in Digital Media and Video Production. Her present career goals are to become an innovative and successful graphic designer who will often produce short films and music videos in her free time.
As a natural-born artist in her early 20s, choosing just one medium of expression is nearly impossible.
